Woodwich

Woodwich is a furniture collection crafted from a self-developed plate material. The design collection is inspired by a screw free building kit, which offers easily handled products that effortlessly assemble. Enhanced by a lightweight middle layer, the collection is convenient for transport conscious. The plate material is sustainable and is and envirnmentally recyclable. Woodwich an inexhaustible source of possibilities for home decoration, where thoughtful design meets practicality.

The design: process for Woodwich, beginning with the concept of minimising waste and material usage while creating a functional product. I began with material research, focusing on lightweight, preferably flat materials. Ultimately, I developed my own solution: a combination of wood and polyurethane foam. Resulting in a product that is both light and strong. Transitioning from 2D to 3D, I had to ensure the flat material could be adapted for various applications without the need for screws. I explored different product possibilities by creating small prototypes using MDF. For the final product, I crafted laser cut moulds, shaped from the plate material, which I then used to form the completed designs.

Golf Courses

For Crossmoor Golf Course in Weert, I developed plans for all eighteen holes. Throughout the project, I utilised photos, drone footage, golf regulations, and the company’s brand guidelines. I combined these elements to create a practical, smooth, and cohesive design.

The background colour of the golf course plans matches the backdrop of the club’s logo featured on their website.

These colours are specified in the golf regulations, and the placement of the dots and meter lines are also predetermined.

The flag in Crossmoor’s logo indicates the location of the hole on the green.

SV Kampong Hockey

Sometimes the best way to grow is to just get out and shoot. I joined a photographer to cover a hockey match of the first men's team of SV Kampong partly to improve my skills and sharpen my eye for fast-moving, unpredictable moments, and partly because I genuinely love the sport. A combination where two of my passions came together, and a great excuse to spend a day doing exactly what I enjoy: watching a good game while capturing it through the lens.

Branding 360 Toys

For this client, I created a cohesive visual identity that reflects their brand values and appeals to their target audience. The project included a logo, a complete brand style guide, product packaging design, and diverse product listing templates for online sales platforms. This ensured a consistent
and engaging presentation across all touchpoints.

Annual Review Document

The document I designed for healthcare workers to prepare for their annual review conversations. The document guides employees through reflecting on their past year, achievements, and goals The docment is well structured and clearly so both employee and manager walk into the conversation well-prepared.

Healthcare Survey Design

The survey is intended for nurses and aim to assess their workplace efficiency. Due to copyright restrictions, the actual survey content cannot be displayed. For the survey tool, I focused on designing an engaging and visually appealing survey tailored to the client’s predominantly female audience. By incorporating thoughtful design elements, I transformed the survey data into a creative graphical representation, ensuring the collected data was seamlessly integrated into an unique visual format. The survey was converted into a fillable PDF using Adobe Acrobat. This allowed the results from each section to be extracted and used to form the flower.

Port Infrastructure Infographic

An infographic on port infrastructure in the Nordic region, created as part of reports and a presentation, commissioned by the Dutch embassies in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. The design not only focused on presenting complex information in a clear and visually appealing way but also functioned as an animated infographic for use in presentations and at events.

Product Listing Templates

After making the logo and brand identity the following templates were developed for 360 Toys to use as product listings for online sales platforms such as Bol. They were designed in the company’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all brand products. The use of bright cheerful colours reflects the playful character of children’s toys, while the layout ensures a clean and well-structured look, keeping the design professional. This balances the listing, making them both engaging and easy to navigate, without becoming overwhelming for the viewer.

Custom Resumes

As freelancer I worked on several resumes in different styles. This resume is an incognito style cv. I really enjoyed working with the many inviduals and their different personalities, job fields and personal tastes.

Product Listings

For the retailer 360 Healthy Lifestyle, I created numerous commercial product listings for their sales pages on Bol.com. My role encompassed designing ambience shots, close-ups, USP images, and infographics to showcase the products in an engaging and persuasive way. My work succesfully boosted sales. Here, I highlight three products I worked on: an Oat Jar, a Sourdough Set and a Book Stand.

Thinking of You

I photographed the installation “Thinking of You” by Alketa Xhafa Mripa in Oslo. The installation is presented at two locations: next to the famous Nobel Peace Center and at Torggata in downtown Oslo.

The assignment covered two beautiful events: the official inauguration of the work and the opening of the installation at the Noble Peace Center. In between taking over 5000 photo’s, I had the opportunity to meet so many beautiful, inspiring people. But most of all, I was impressed by Alketa’s work: a dedication to survivors of sexual violence in conflict and beyond.

Such a meaningful thing to be a part of the past few days. So thankful that the Embassy of the Netherlands in Norway and Alketa Xhafa Mripa had their trust in me.
